Harbor North Charters takes pride in offering the oldest and most complete charter service on Lake Erie. With our extensive fleet ranging from day sailors to offshore cruisers, we are able to match the proper boat to the type of sailing you desire. By having our own maintenance program and repair facilities, our boats are always in excellent, seaworthy condition. A list of recommended U.S. Coast Guard licensed captains is available for charter or sailing instruction. Captain’s fees are $240 a day. Prior to boarding, your boat will be completely serviced and supplied with the initial fuel, water, galley utensils and ice. Each boat has a complete inventory of safety and navigational equipment to insure all Coast Guard requirements are met. All you need to bring is linen, clothes and food. To add to your enjoyment, dinghies are available upon request.

Returns
Our return times are between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm (you will be charged for late returns).
Charter Rates
Reservations may be made by mail or phone. We will hold these for 5 days pending 50% of your charter fee. After receiving your deposit, we will send you your confirmation and charter package.
PLEASE REMEMBER – when booking your charter, if a captain is needed, he will need bunk space. The fee for a captain is $240 per day, plus food. Weekly rates are available.
Security Deposits are required on all the boats.
We accept cash, certified checks, VISA, MasterCard or Amer Express only. A security deposit is due at Harbor North in Huron, Ohio, with your final payment 10 days in advance of your charter! (Your security deposit will be returned to you within a few days after your charter ends provided there is no damage to the boat).
Cancellations: In the event of cancellation, your deposit will be cheerfully refunded if written notice is received a minimum of 14 days in advance of your charter date. If less than 14 days notice, your deposit will be refunded if we are able to obtain a substitute booking. There is a $50 cancellation fee.
